Well it seems that summer is slowly coming to an end. On the brighter side you should have plenty of produce to harvest from your wonderful garden!

Crops that are finished may be removed and placed in your compost; you may thin and deadhead perennials now as well. If you have fruit trees, it is time to start picking the ripe fruits off your trees and enjoying them! You may also transplant conifers and water them well. If you need to, you may seed new lawn now; this is the time of year to do it.

This is the month of many horticultural shows and events, you may want to come by and visit Diana's Garden Centre and see what is displayed or even just look around enjoy chatting about gardening and maybe indulging yourself with some fresh picked Okanogan fruit!
